Chateau Editorial Engagement

August 18, 2023

Marzi and Drake chose the most French inspired chateau they could find in their home state of Oregon to celebrate their wedding in 2024. We planned for a few weeks on how to best capture these moments all while having an editorial, documentation style approach.

Being inspired by the European features this venue offers, here are some of my favorite chateau’s around the world.

Château de Tresserve | A 16th century castle in the heart of the French alps that offers a luxurious and inviting tone for your 200 guests. With the tones of blue floating through the background of what could be your wedding memories, this venue is perfect for the sightseeing couples.

Chateau Gassies | Located over looking Bordeaux France and only two hours from Paris, is one of the most beautiful venues I have seen. Not only a venue for your one day, but a whole weekend + week event. Guests can stay on the property making their travel even more seamless. A 19th century courtyard and an indoor + outdoor reception space – perfect for year round celebrating.

Chateau de Tourreau | As seen in Vouge and Elle Magazine, this stunning 18th century chateau is located in Provence. Offering 20 acres of private property rental, your friends and family will be consumed in the experience of your love.

Chateau de la Gaude | “A prestige estate” Château de la Gaude is an 18th century Provencal bastide located in a lush haven of Aix en Provence. With beautiful bright getting ready spaces to the walkable gardens, this venue is what you your guests would dream of.
